This year is quickly passing by.  We have only two more meetings before our summer break.  Following Board approval, you will be receiving a ballot in the mail with candidates for 2008-2009 officers.  I hope you will use this opportunity to express your desires for TPDA leadership positions.  I want to express appreciation to our Nominating Committee for the work they have done to put together our ballot.  Those who have served on the Nominating Committee are Tracey Blume, Chair, Toni Drysdale and Jeanie Hohle.

Don't forget TDA FNCE will be April 24-26 at the Marriott Westchase Hotel.  In connection with that event, we have received a request from TDA for contributions to a silent auction to benefit TDAPAC.  There is a contest for creative baskets.  We need a volunteer or group of volunteers to create a basket on behalf of Tall Pines.  Anyone can donate items.  Details can be found in two attachments to this newsletter.  If you need additional information, contact TDA.

We also have raffle tickets for sale to benefit TDA Foundation for scholarships to Dietetic Students in Texas.  The tickets are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00.  There are twelve different prizes to be given away.  Winning ticket stubs will be drawn on April 25 at FNCE.  You do not have to be present to win.  Come to our April 3 meeting and be prepared to purchase your raffle tickets.
